A Special Thanks to the following businesses who helped us make our be.u.tiful accessories launch a success!!

Mississauga born singer/song-writer, Lily Ostos is MLC's Music Artist Ambassador. She volunteers her musical talent for MLC's school programs and fundraising events as well as writes music inspired by MLC clients. She has a real passion to teach girls how valuable they are and their true beauty. "Beautiful" was written in winter of 2009 to inspire and be a voice for the stories of young woman who have ever felt alone, mistreated, or worthless. Let their beauty shine for the world to see!
Gamma Girls
Gamma girls is a 10 week program designed to engage teenagers in conversation with adult mentors about the real life issues that they face each day. It is an interactive, short-term mentoring program designed primarily for girls between the ages of 12 and 16. Through group work and mentoring, Gamma girls seeks to help young women understand who God created them to be and to remain strong and focused in the midst of peer pressure. The Gamma girls curriculum provides tools and information to better equip teens for the challenging issues they must navigate on their way to adulthood. (
See events page for more info.)
Speakers & Presentations
We aim to keep in the know about all issues teens deal with in today's post modern age. We also recognize that as community workers and parents yourselves, it's hard to know everything your teen(s) and/or young adults are dealing with. You may feel out of the loop, and this can create conflict in your relationship with them.
We offer the community a variety of opportunities to educate teens and young adults on pertaining issues such as self esteem, media awareness, healthy body image, sex and STIs, pregnancy options, relationship choices, and much more!
We hope within the next year, we will be able to offer youth leaders, teachers, and parents the tools they need on how to discuss sex and relationships with teens and young adults. We'll keep you posted on when those workshops will be offered.
If you would like someone to come to your group to speak, or with your family, on issues such as self esteem, healthy relationship choices, sexuality, about
MLC's services and initiatives, or pregnancy options, you can contact our director for booking:

Students
Ambassadors
We are looking for teens and young adults to join our Ambassador Teams! We are currently trying to build Ambassador Teams within each school that would carry on our positive messages throughout the year through several different creative campaigns. This could mean doing a poster campaign in your school, bake sales, sponsored movie nights, or booking our presentations for assemblies or in class or at lunch hour, and much more! You will also have the opportunity to help us with product design: t-shirts, brochures, Be.Me. Jewelry and more!
If you would like to be apart or create an Ambassador Team at your school, contact us: info@choosetoknow.ca
